In my opinion, saying Fallout 4 is better than Fallout 3 as a Fallout game might as well be celebrating the triumph of Mass Effect 3 and Dragon Age 2 as improvements on the series rather than what they were - massive downgrades implemented with the goal of selling to more consumers.
